About ABMeter

Why I built it

At my last job, every squad ran its own A/B testing tool. The tools did not fit together, so nobody could compare results between squads, and nobody could say whether the statistics behind a winning variant were right. ABMeter is the tool I wanted every squad to share.

The mission

Make A/B testing a standard development practice for individuals and small teams, the way unit tests are. A unit test tells you the code does what you meant. An A/B test tells you the feature does what the customer needed.

Building features is cheap now that AI writes much of the code. Knowing which features mean something to a customer is the part left to the developer, and most small teams have neither the habit nor a tool for it.
